Issuance of New Types of Recognized Certificate - Bank-Cert (Bank), Bank-Cert (Personal) and Bank-Cert (Corporate)
With effect from 7 December 2015, Hongkong Post Certification Authority (HKPCA) starts to issue new types of recognized digital certificates, namely Bank-Cert (Bank), Bank-Cert (Personal) and Bank-Cert (Corporate), in line with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's implementation and use of e-cheque to improve payment efficiency and encourage paperless transactions. For details regarding Bank-Cert (Bank), Bank-Cert (Personal) and Bank-Cert (Corporate), please refer to the HKPCA's website. Licensed Banks in Hong Kong interested in applying these recognized digital certificates for them and their customers are required to make prior arrangement with Hongkong Post Certification Authority and they can call Hongkong Post Certification Authority hotline at 2921 6633 or email to enquiry@hongkongpost.gov.hk for details.
