Cessation of use of e-Cert File Card as e-Cert Storage Medium with effect from 1 February 2019
Hongkong Post Certification Authority (HKPCA) currently provides e-Cert File Card as one of the storage media for e-Cert (Personal), e-Cert (Organisational) and e-Cert (Encipherment) ["e-Cert (P)/(O)/(E)"]. To facilitate transition, HKPCA will waive the charges for the e-Cert File USB (i.e. it will be offered free of charge) for e-Cert (P)/(O)/(E) for (i) new applications submitted in February 2019, and (ii) renewal application that are due and submitted in February 2019Note 2.
