New Arrangement for Promotional Discount on e-Cert Subscription Fees

As a result of an open tender process conducted by Hongkong Post in 2022, Certizen Limited [翹晉電子商務有限公司] (the "contractor") has been awarded a 3-year contract to operate e-Cert services for the period from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2026. Hongkong Post can exercise the discretion to extend the contract by one year until 30 June 2027 when necessary. According to the contract arrangement, the contractor will be responsible for the operating cost in providing the e-Cert services and is entitled to receive subscription fees for various types of e-Cert from the subscribers.

Starting from 1 July 2023, the contractor will adjust the following promotional discounts on the e-Cert subscription fees under the contract until further notice:

For e-Cert (Personal) (without "Mutual Recognition" status), with effect from 1 July 2023, the annual subscription fee will be discounted from HK$50 to HK$48 per certificate.

For e-Cert (Organisational) (without "Mutual Recognition" status), with effect from 1 July 2023, the promotional discount on its subscription fees will be provided as follows:

For e-Cert (Encipherment), with effect from 1 July 2023, the promotional discount on its subscription fee will be cancelled. The annual subscription fee for e-Cert (Encipherment) will be resumed from HK$24 to the original price of HK$150 per certificate.
For e-Cert (Server) (without "Wildcard" feature and "Multi-domain" feature), with effect from 1 July 2023, the annual subscription fee will be discounted from HK$2,500 to HK$2,350 per certificate.

For e-Cert (Server) with "Wildcard" feature, with effect from 1 July 2023, the promotional discount on the subscription fee will remain unchanged and be provided as follows:

For Extended Validation e-Cert (Server) (without "Multi-domain" feature), with effect from 1 July 2023, the annual subscription fee will be discounted from HK$3,000 to HK$2,700 per certificate.
For g-Cert (Individual), with effect from 1 July 2023, the annual subscription fee will be discounted from HK$20 to HK$18 per certificate.

The administration fees of the e-Cert certificates will remain unchanged. The subscription fees of all other types of e-Cert certificates will also remain unchanged.
