One-stop solution Hongkong Post Logistics Service offers complement services
Hongkong Post announced today the official establishment of Hongkong Post Certification Authority (CA), marking a milestone in the development of e-commerce in Hong Kong.
The Hongkong Post CA is the first public CA in Hong Kong. By obtaining a certificate from Hongkong Post, individuals and businesses can enjoy a high level of security when conducting business transactions on the Internet.
Mr. P. C. LUK, the Postmaster General said at the inauguration ceremony held today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, "the Hongkong Post CA provides full certification services to facilitate secure electronic transactions and to authenticate the identities of participants in e-commerce, thus enabling a secure environment that addresses the four essential concerns of doing business in the Cyberspace, namely authenticity, integrity, confidentiality and non-repudiation."
Applications for certificates under the Hongkong Post e-Cert service can be made at all 129 post offices in the territories. The fees are as follows:

As a complement to the Hongkong Post e-Cert service to promote e-commerce in Hong Kong, Hongkong Post has also developed and launched a new Logistics service. This new service aims at providing a one-stop integrated logistics solution to meet the needs of businesses in the supply chain management such as warehousing, inventory management, and delivery of goods. With the 129 post offices strategically located in various districts in the territory and the wide coverage of our delivery network, we are confident that customers will find our Logistics service very convenient, reliable and value for money. Following the establishment of the public CA, Hongkong Post will continue to explore and develop more enhanced services to support e-commerce in Hong Kong.
